Module 2 — tools

You can think clearly with a Bic pen and a crumbled napkin but it’s more enjoyable and easier to stay organized if you use proper tools. I prefer thin markers from Prismacolor or Copic (the Multiliner SP is fantastic) and I love notebooks from Moleskine or Leuchtturm. The best thing you can do is to go to a good art supply store and try for yourself. Perhaps buy a handful and experiment.

You can obviously choose cheap pens and napkins to doodle. But why not invest in proper tools to think clearly and seriously?

I recommend a big notebook with blank pages, such as Moleskine or Leuchtturm.

This extra large notebook is discovered recently. It weighs 2 pounds!

These are markers from Prismacolor. Try using only black and red(occasionally green and blue) to simply your options.

Notebooks are excellent when you want to retrieve some information from a huge archive. Napkins and loose paper scatter all over the place.

When you’re ready to get started, please proceed to module 3.
